All children, regardless of their ability or capability to participate, should be afforded the opportunity to be involved in sporting events. Can you imagine what it is like for a young child to sit and watch a brother, sister or friend play a sport and not be able to participate as well?

With the help of my wife, my friends, my fellow board members, community and the cooperation of the Indio Youth Sports Association and Pony Baseball, this program has been created to serve these Special Children.

Kelsey’s Heroes Program is focused on providing the opportunities, to all the kids in the Coachella Valley with special needs to enjoy and develop in sports and social gatherings. With our family oriented environment the kids can be part of a team, a community but the most important, a big family that cares about them.
We have sports all year around, to keep the kids busy and happy to participate in the activities. Also we have four big parties through the year to enforce the family-community bond. It is all about the kids!

Every kids faces different challenges but this program is not about what they can’t do, but what they can do and enjoy. Every kid participates in our actives regardless of their physical capacities, and is all free for kids and parents. Be part of our Team, our Community, our Journey!!!

Sports help Special Needs Kids On and Off the Field!

Down syndrome, Autism, benefit from sports on motor skills like, agility, balance, stress relieve, dexterity & strength. Exercise is the best way to increase focus and develops social skills improving one’s mood.
